Every earlier Battle Mastery lesson gave you one piece: matchups, energy maps, partner ecosystems, clutch ethics, production clarity, athlete debriefs, event pacing. Individually those are worksheets. Assembled into one playbook with a week of evidence, they become portfolio proof you can compete with entertainment, sportsmanship, and strategy — on purpose.

This Capstone is evidence assembly and demonstration, not new battle theory. If a piece is missing, go back and complete it — this lesson does not re-teach BT-01 through BT-07.

Prerequisites

Complete BT-01 through BT-07 — the full Battle Mastery sequence, from Battle Strategy Beyond Basics through Multi-Battle Nights and Event Pacing.

You should already have, or be able to quickly assemble, artifacts for matchup scorecard, energy map, partner roster/norms, clutch phrase bank + ethics rules, production clarity checklist, debrief/scorecard/experiment log, and multi-battle night planner with recovery.

What "objectively reviewable" means here

A signature battle system is not a vibe. It is a standard another person could inspect section by section without you in the room:

1. Matchup rules — when you say yes/no to invites (BT-01) 2. Energy architecture — open / mid / close map you actually host (BT-02) 3. Partner ecosystem — roster, norms, fairness, cadence (BT-03) 4. If any section is a placeholder instead of your real system, the Capstone is incomplete.

Assembling what you already built

Most of the Capstone is collection. Pull BT-01 scorecard samples, BT-02 energy map, BT-03 roster/norms, BT-04 clutch bank + ethics, BT-05 clarity checklist pack, BT-06 debriefs and five-battle log progress, BT-07 night planner / recovery / continuity.

If a section feels thin, that usually means the original mission was skimmed. Go back and do the real version before writing the playbook.

Writing the Signature Battle System Playbook

The playbook is the spine. It should answer, in a short packet (one to three pages, not a novel):

• System name — a label you would recognize at 6 a.m.
• Matchup policy — yes/no criteria in plain language
• Energy standard — the map you run on a default battle length
• Partner norms — fairness, scheduling, no fake rivalry
• Clutch ethics — allowed language / banned pressure
• Production clarity gate — what must be true before invite accept
• Debrief rule — when and how you file worked/failed/test
• Pacing rule — hard caps, recovery minimums, abort signals
• Week operating rhythm — how many battle touchpoints you actually plan

Write it so future-you can run the system after a bad week, a travel week, or a partner drought — without inventing guilt tactics to "make up numbers."

The battle week (or documented completed week)

Certificate evidence requires a real week of the system — or a fully documented completed week with the same evidence standard:

• Planning — calendar of intended battles/events before the week starts (or reconstructed honestly if documenting past)
• Guest coordination — messages/notes showing professional invites, norms, confirmations (no harassment)
• Replays / session proofs — VODs, recordings, or timestamped session notes that prove matches or full rehearsals happened
• Improvement log — BT-06 experiments actually updated during the week
• Communication — how you framed sportsmanship and expectations to partners and room
• Post-event analysis — end-of-week review: what the system protected, what broke, what changes next week

Do not submit a random old highlight that only vaguely resembles today's playbook. The week must prove this system.

Capstone Evidence Portfolio Checklist

Use the Battle Week Evidence Checklist to file, at minimum: playbook, matchup samples, energy map, partner norms, clutch ethics card, production clarity pack, debriefs/log, pacing plan, guest coordination notes, replay or proof links, communication examples, and Capstone Week Results Review. A reviewer should open the folder and verify without a live call.

Battle Lab / Honors (optional, non-gating)

After you complete the lessons, pass required assessments, and submit Capstone evidence, you may optionally submit a battle week pack to Battle Lab for sharper feedback and Battle Mastery Honors recognition when available. Lab format focuses on battle week pack review — AI mentor support and/or optional Brad review when offered.

Battle Lab / Honors is OPTIONAL after the certificate. It never gates the Battle Mastery Certificate. Do not wait on a lab review before claiming certification you already earned.

Hall of Fame consideration, if you choose to pursue it, is an optional honors path available only *after* a review pass — never a certification requirement, and never something you need to chase to complete this Capstone.

What this Capstone is not

• Not a gift-total contest or leaderboard flex
• Not permission to use guilt, pressure, harassment, or fake rivalries "for Capstone drama"
• Not a requirement to battle every day until voice failure
• Not illegal tools, policy violations, or artificial engagement schemes
• Not "skip ethics or recovery if the scoreboard looked good"
• Not Lab approval as a certificate gate

Example 1 — Playbook excerpt. "System: Fair Fight Fridays. Matchup: yes only if energy fit + norms agreed. Energy: BT-02 map v3. Clutch: celebrate, never guilt. Clarity: BT-05 checklist gate. Debrief: same night, one test. Pacing: max 2 battles/night, 8-min recovery, abort on hoarse voice."

Example 2 — Week evidence index. "Mon plan filed. Wed Match A replay link + debrief. Fri two-match night planner + recovery card used. Sun Capstone Week Results Review: protected sportsmanship; missed one clarity re-check; next week add mic check alarm."

Example 3 — Honest gap, filled correctly. Partner norms page was blank. Before filing, creator sent two real norm messages, saved screenshots, and updated BT-03 roster — playbook alone was not enough.

Real Creator Scenarios

Scenario A — "I only managed two battles this week." Two real battles with full evidence beat seven undocumented skirmishes. Completeness of the system trail matters more than match count bragging.

Scenario B — "I can't battle this week; can I document last week?" Yes — if last week is reconstructed with the same reviewable artifacts (planning, guests, proofs, log, communication, analysis) mapped to today's playbook. Do not invent evidence.

Scenario C — "I want Lab feedback before I claim the certificate." Optional Battle Lab is exactly for polish. File certificate evidence first; Lab/Honors never blocks what you already earned.

• Assemble before you polish — completeness first, aesthetic second.
• Keep the playbook short enough to reread before Match 1.
• Include ethics and recovery even if highlight clips tempt you to skip.
• Label documented past weeks clearly if you are not running a fresh week.

• Update the improvement log during the week, not only on Sunday.
• Write abort and hard-cap rules into the playbook as first-class policy.
• Optional Lab polish comes after certificate evidence, not before.

Common Beginner Mistakes

• Treating Capstone as new strategy theory. Fix: assemble BT-01–BT-07 artifacts first.
• A playbook that only works if you never get tired. Fix: include pacing and abort rules.
• Pretty highlight reel with no debrief or guest notes. Fix: reviewability requires the trail.
• Using Capstone week to justify guilt tactics. Fix: ethics hard stop — that evidence fails.
• Waiting on Lab/Honors to claim the certificate. Fix: Lab never gates certification.
• Placeholders for missing missions. Fix: return to the original lesson and complete the real work.
• Grading yourself only on gifts. Fix: grade system execution and sportsmanship.

Reality Check

Your first signature system will be imperfect — a partner cancel, a skipped micro-debrief, a recovery block you shortened once. That is normal. The certificate measures whether you can lock, run, and document a real ethical system — not whether every match looked like a highlight factory.

When the packet is complete, finish your certificate requirements. Optional Lab/Honors and Hall of Fame consideration afterward never gate what you already earned.
