Every earlier Production lesson gave you one piece: decision discipline, lighting, framing, audio, room, OBS/mobile systems, accessibility, triage. Individually those are worksheets. Assembled into one bible with a demo, they become portfolio proof you can recreate quality on purpose — including when something fails.

This Capstone is evidence assembly and demonstration, not new gear theory. If a piece is missing, go back and complete it — this lesson does not re-teach PD-01 through PD-09.

Prerequisites

You should already have, or be able to quickly assemble, artifacts for decisions/lighting/frame/audio/room/scenes or mobile kit/accessibility checklist/tech triage card.

Main Lesson

What "objectively reviewable" means here

A signature look is not a mood board. It is a standard another person could inspect section by section without you in the room:

1. Production decisions note — what you buy vs skip, and why (PD-01) 2. Lighting diagram + setup photo — primary LIVE location (PD-02) 3. Framing reference screenshots — consistent hierarchy (PD-03) 4. Audio checklist + test pass — clean-sound standard (PD-04) 5. Room/background before-after — brand-safe, low distraction (PD-05) 6. Scene map or mobile kit list — runnable under stress (PD-06 or PD-07) 7. Accessibility checklist applied — five upgrades logged (PD-08) 8. Tech triage card + recovery proof — fail-safe exists (PD-09) 9. Production Bible One-Pager — the locked standard in one page 10. Demo evidence — LIVE or recorded demo proving the look 11. Ten-minute recreatability note — timed setup log 12. Portfolio index — links/files mapped so a reviewer is not hunting

If any section is a placeholder instead of your real setup, the Capstone is incomplete.

Assembling what you already built

Most of the Capstone is collection. Pull PD-01 decision memo, PD-02 lighting diagram/photos, PD-03 framing screenshots, PD-04 audio pass, PD-05 room photos, PD-06 scene map and/or PD-07 mobile kit, PD-08 accessibility checklist, PD-09 triage card and post-incident drill notes.

If a section feels thin, that usually means the original mission was skimmed. Go back and do the real version before writing the one-pager.

Writing the Production Bible One-Pager

The one-pager is the spine. It should answer, in one page:

• Look name — a short label you would recognize at 6 a.m.
• Light — key/fill/background in plain language + where stands sit
• Audio — mic path, music duck rule, pre-LIVE check
• Frame — camera height, headroom, watch zone, overlay rules
• Scenes / mobile kit — the three scenes or the phone kit order
• Accessibility defaults — contrast, text, orientation habit
• Fail-safe — first triage branch priorities + failover path
• Ten-minute setup order — numbered steps you actually follow

Write it so future-you can recreate the look after a move, a reset, or a bad week.

The ten-minute recreatability test

Before demo day, reset your space (or simulate reset) and rebuild to the bible on a timer. Log start, finish, and anything that broke the ten-minute claim. If you cannot hit ten minutes, simplify the bible — Capstone rewards a recreatable standard, not a fragile cathedral.

Demo LIVE (or recorded demo)

Certificate evidence requires a demo LIVE or a recorded demo that proves the same look. The demo must show:

• The locked light/audio/frame standard in use
• Scenes or mobile kit operating without chaos
• Accessibility defaults visible (readable text, clear speech habits)
• A brief fail-safe mention or clean-scene cut if you drill one

Recorded demos are valid when they prove the look objectively — same angle references, same checklist on screen or in the portfolio, same bible. Do not submit a random old VOD that only vaguely resembles today's standard.

Capstone Evidence Portfolio Checklist

Use the portfolio checklist to file, at minimum: studio/setup photos, lighting photos, OBS or mobile config notes/screenshots, audio improvement notes or test clip reference, completed checklists (accessibility + triage), backup procedures, before/after where relevant, and a short replay analysis note (what held, what drifted). A reviewer should be able to open the folder and verify without a live call.

Production Lab / Honors (optional, non-gating)

After you complete the lessons, pass required assessments, and submit Capstone evidence, you may optionally submit your setup demo and production bible to Production Lab for sharper feedback and Production Mastery Honors recognition when available. Lab format focuses on setup demo + production bible review — AI mentor support and/or optional Brad review when offered.

Production Lab / Honors is OPTIONAL after the certificate. It never gates the Production Mastery Certificate. Do not wait on a lab review before claiming certification you already earned.

Hall of Fame consideration, if you choose to pursue it, is an optional honors path available only *after* a review pass — never a certification requirement, and never something you need to chase to complete this Capstone.

What this Capstone is not

• Not a shopping list for a dream studio you do not run
• Not a requirement to buy new gear for "Capstone polish"
• Not illegal recovery methods or unsafe electrical improvisation carried forward from PD-09
• Not "skip accessibility or triage if the photos look nice"
• Not Lab approval as a certificate gate

Examples

Example 1 — Bible excerpt. "Look: Night Desk A. Key softbox 45° camera-left, dim warm practical rear-right. Audio: USB mic 6 inches off-axis, music −12 dB under talk. Frame: eyes on upper third, goal panel bottom-left dark plate. Scenes: Cam / Cam+Game / Clean. Fail-safe: hotspot SSID on triage card; clean scene one tap; phone LIVE exit if desktop dies. Setup order: power → light → mic check → phone preview contrast → go."

Example 2 — Ten-minute log. "Reset at 0:00. Lights at 1:20. Mic + levels 3:40. OBS scenes verified 6:10. Overlay contrast phone check 8:00. Ready 9:15. Drift note: cable routing stole 40 seconds — add velcro step to bible."

Example 3 — Honest gap, filled correctly. A creator's PD-08 checklist was blank. Before Capstone filing, they ran the five upgrades on a real session and filed the completed checklist — photos alone were not enough.

Real Creator Scenarios

Scenario A — "My lighting photos look amateur." Include them anyway. Capstone measures whether the look is real and recreatable, not whether it could be in a magazine.

Scenario B — "I can't do a public LIVE this week." Submit a recorded demo that proves the locked look with the same bible and portfolio evidence — clearly labeled as the Capstone demo.

Scenario C — "I want Lab feedback before I claim the certificate." Optional Production Lab is exactly for polish. File certificate evidence first; Lab/Honors never blocks what you already earned.

Common Beginner Mistakes

• Treating Capstone as new gear theory. Fix: assemble PD-01–PD-09 artifacts first.
• A bible that only works if nothing was moved. Fix: run the ten-minute recreatability test.
• Pretty photos with no triage or accessibility. Fix: fail-safe and usability are required evidence.
• Submitting a random old VOD as demo. Fix: prove today's locked look.
• Waiting on Lab/Honors to claim the certificate. Fix: Lab never gates certification.
• Placeholders for missing missions. Fix: return to the original lesson and complete the real work.
• Unsafe or illegal "backup" notes. Fix: only legal, safe failover paths belong in the bible.

Reality Check

Your first production bible will be imperfect — a cable you forgot to list, a contrast setting that drifts, a ten-minute claim that is really twelve until you simplify. That is normal. The certificate measures whether you can lock, demonstrate, and document a real standard — not whether the room could pass a broadcast network inspection on day one.

When the packet is complete, finish your certificate requirements. Optional Lab/Honors and Hall of Fame consideration afterward never gate what you already earned.
