Every earlier Community lesson gave you a piece: thesis and rituals, return habits, mods and roles, conflict readiness, health boundaries, inclusion, guest or interview craft when used, networking reputation. Individually those are worksheets. Run together on one appreciation night, they become portfolio proof you can operate a belonging culture on purpose.

Boundary vs Content Creation CC-06 (Community Events on LIVE): CC-06 teaches event *craft* for themed series and content occasions. This Capstone is culture and ops proof — an appreciation event that shows your community systems work under live conditions. Do not treat this as a Content Creation themed-series assignment.

Main Lesson

What "objectively reviewable" means here

A Community Capstone is not "chat was nice that night." It is a packet someone else can inspect without having been in the room:

1. Event run-of-show — timed open, appreciation beats, participation windows, close 2. Recognition moments list — who/what you planned to celebrate (people, habits, milestones — not only gifters) 3. Roles note — mods or helpers briefed, or an honest "solo host with self-mod plan" 4. Promo notes — how you invited the room without fake urgency or pressure 5. Recording or session notes — enough detail that the night is reconstructable 6. Follow-up plan — what happens after the LIVE (thank-yous, next ritual, any peer notes) 7. After-action review — what worked, what broke, what you will keep

If the night felt magical but the packet is empty, the Capstone is incomplete.

Integrating the whole path (required stack)

Your run-of-show must show these systems *in use*, not merely named in a quiz:

• CM-01 — Thesis / rituals: Open with one sentence of who this room is for, and fire at least one ritual that regulars recognize.
• CM-02 — Return habits: Greet, callback, and close with a clear reason to come back — not "follow if you want."
• CM-03 — Mods / roles: If you have mods, brief them; if not, write your solo escalation plan on the run-of-show.
• CM-04 — Conflict readiness: Keep the decision tree nearby. Appreciation nights still get trolls; calm enforcement protects the celebration.
• CM-05 — Health boundaries: Know what topics and intensity you will not turn into content tonight.
• CM-06 — Inclusion welcome: Script a newcomer welcome so the night is not "insiders only" nostalgia.
• CM-07 / CM-08 — Optional guest or interview: Use only if it elevates appreciation; cut it if it steals the room's focus.
• CM-09 — Networking / reputation: Promo and peer mentions stay give-first and clean — no desperate pitching, no recruiting.

Designing the appreciation run-of-show

Build a simple timed spine (adjust lengths to your capacity):

1. Open (5–8 min) — thesis line, ritual, inclusion welcome, tonight's purpose in one sentence 2. Warm recognition block (8–12 min) — celebrate return habits, helpful chat, first-timers, mod/helper work 3. Community moment (10–15 min) — ritual game, story circle, or light participation that fits your thesis (not chaos) 4. Optional guest / interview beat (8–12 min) — only if prepped; exit ramp back to the room 5. Closing recognition + return offer (5–8 min) — thank specific people, state next ritual or schedule, clean close 6. Buffer — 3–5 minutes for overtime thanks or calm enforcement without rushing the close

Write names or categories you plan to recognize before you go live. Leave room for spontaneous shout-outs, but do not rely on improvisation for the whole night.

Promo, hosting, and follow-up

Promo should feel like an invitation, not a debt: announce date/time and purpose early, remind once or twice without guilt, and never imply missing the night makes someone a worse community member. Thank peers who share the invite — do not demand reciprocal promo chains.

On camera, host as a culture carrier: warm pacing with peaks and rests, names when you can, translate insider jokes once for newcomers, enforce calmly if conflict appears, and end on time relative to your run-of-show.

Same day, complete thank-yous to mods, guests, or peers who helped (CM-09 hygiene); one room-facing follow-up that continues belonging without shaming absentees; and the After-Action Review Worksheet — planned vs actual, recognition that landed, friction, conflict or health moments, inclusion gaps, and what you keep. Write it so a mentor could understand the night cold.

Community Lab / Mastery Honors (optional, non-gating)

After you complete the Community Mastery lessons, pass required assessments, and submit Capstone evidence as defined in program requirements, you may optionally submit your evidence pack to Community Lab for sharper feedback and Mastery Honors recognition when available.

Community Lab / Mastery Honors is OPTIONAL after the certificate. It never gates the Community Mastery Certificate. Do not wait on a lab slot before claiming certification you already earned through lessons, missions, finals, and Capstone evidence.

What this Capstone is not

• Not a virality contest
• Not a gift goal night disguised as appreciation
• Not agency or network recruiting
• Not a Content Creation themed-series craft assignment (see CC-06 for that lane)
• Not "skip the packet if the vibes were good"

Examples

Example 1 — thesis open. "This room is for people who show up kind and curious. Tonight is appreciation night — we celebrate the habits that make that real."

Example 2 — recognition beat (not gift-only). "Shout-out to everyone who greets new chatters by name, to our mod who kept the room calm last week, and to three first-timers who stayed and asked a real question."

Example 3 — after-action excerpt. "Ritual open landed. Mid-event participation ran long and squeezed closing recognition — next time hard-cap the game at ten minutes. Inclusion welcome worked; two newcomers said they felt caught up. No conflict incidents. Keep the mod brief; cut the optional interview next time unless prepped 48 hours out."

Real Creator Scenarios

Scenario A — Tiny room on Capstone night. Run the full run-of-show anyway. Recognition and rituals still count. Document attendance honestly. Small and complete beats large and chaotic.

Scenario B — A troll hits during recognition. Use your CM-04 tree: warn or remove, do not debate for content, return to the appreciation beat within a minute. Note it in the after-action as conflict readiness proof.

Scenario C — You want to add three guests last minute. Don't. Capstone fails more often from scope creep than from a quiet room. Keep optional guest/interview elements only if they were on the run-of-show with roles and exit ramps.

• Skipping conflict/health prep because "it's a happy night." Fix: happy nights still need boundaries.
• Insider language with no inclusion welcome. Fix: translate and invite new people in.
• Waiting for Community Lab before claiming the certificate. Fix: Lab never gates certification.
• Turning the night into a Content Creation theme marathon. Fix: this Capstone is culture/ops proof.

Reality Check

Your appreciation event will be imperfect. Someone you planned to recognize will be offline. A segment will run long. Chat may be quieter than you hoped. Document the truth. The certificate measures whether you can operate community systems on a real LIVE and review them like a professional — not whether the night looked like a highlight reel.

When the evidence pack is complete, finish your Community Mastery Certificate requirements. Optional Community Lab / Mastery Honors never gates certification. Carry the same operating discipline into whatever you build next.
