Camera Frame Checklist

Pre-LIVE frame checklist: eye line, crop, posture, background, and a 10-second ownership check.

Run this in the 60 seconds before Go Live. If something fails the checklist, fix it before you open — do not open and apologize into the frame.

Frame ownership checks

  • Eyes meet the lens more than the chat box
  • Headroom is intentional (not floating or cropped)
  • Shoulders and upper torso visible — you own the rectangle
  • Posture: tall without stiffness; no chin-to-chest collapse
  • Background supports you (not competing with you)
  • Lighting: face readable; no harsh silhouette
  • Mic position does not force awkward lean into frame
  • 10-second ownership check: I look like a host, not a hostage

If something failed — fix before open
